What are worm castings?
Worm castings are the odourless, natural manure of earthworms. They contain all the necessary nutrients for healthy plant growth and enhance soil structure by promoting moisture retention and aeration.
Advantages of worm castings:
- Safe and Sustainable
Our worm castings are safe for children, pets, and the environment. They help fight plant diseases by extracting toxins and harmful fungi from the soil, resulting in healthier plants that are resistant to pests and diseases. - Balanced Soil Conditions
Acting as a natural pH buffer, our castings ensure plants can absorb nutrients even in extreme pH levels. They also enhance moisture retention and aeration, creating optimal conditions for plant growth. - Stimulated Growth
Containing humic acid, our castings stimulate plant growth and microflora populations, leading to faster germination and healthier plants with larger root systems and more blooms. - Immediate Nutrient Availability
Unlike traditional fertilizers, our worm castings provide immediate nutrients while sustaining long-term nutritional needs. They continually release essential nutrients for plant growth and production. - Nature’s Premium Plant Food
Enhancing moisture retention and aeration, stimulating roots for faster germination, increasing resistance to disease and pests, and adding essential nutrients to the soil for lusher plants, higher vegetable yields, and more blooms. - Environmentally Friendly
Our worm castings break down toxins in the soil, promoting a healthier environment for plants and wildlife. They improve soil conditions over time without depleting resources.
Where can I use worm castings?
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, lawns, gardens, greenhouses, and agriculture. Easy to apply and won’t harm plants, even in highly concentrated mixes.
How do I use worm castings?
Add a few tablespoons around each plant every four to six weeks for potted plants. For repotting, blend 5% with new potting soil and water thoroughly. Sprinkle generously around bedding or established garden plants and allow to soak in with watering. For trees and shrubs, sprinkle around the base or rake into soil or lawn.
Anything else?
Remember, organic gardening with our worm castings costs less over time as depleted soils naturally restore themselves, leading to stronger, healthier plants with built-in defenses against pests and diseases.
